Warming Fire Cider

When the seasons start to shift, and maybe our bodies crave a little more warmth and immune resilience

This is a tweaked recipe for an immune supportive elixir that I find very helpful in warding of seasonal illness

Just add 1-2 tablespoon to a little warm water every day

Warming Fire Cider Ingredients

2 x Cups Of Organic Pineapple

2x small red onions,

1 x lemon or lime

2 x sprigs of Rosemary

3 x cloves of Garlic

3 inches of Ginger root

2 inches of turmeric root

5 inches of horseradish root

2 x dried chilli

1 x litre of organic raw apple cider vinegar

Directions

Take the outside off the pineapple off and cut into cubes, peel and chop the horseradish

Wash all everything else and slice.

Pop in a large sterilised jar, and fill up the jar layering all the lovely ingredients, making sure to mingle all those beautiful powerful gifts from nature together!

Everything is optional

Make it more or less fiery by adding more chilli or ginger or horseradish

Keep it in a sealed jar and leave in the fridge for a month, then strain- compost or eat all the plant matter( slowly as it is very strong with vinegar)

Then admire your delicious liquid ( keeping it in the fridge to store) and of course, enjoy it as a little drink in hot or cold water- or if you’re feeling brave straight off the spoon!

Yum!
