A Journey To Recovery With Margreta
Hello, I am Margreta and am happy you have arrived! Ready to listen for a bit and to explore?
For a good many years I lived and worked among women in conflict areas and complex societies, with refugees and women on their own with their children, without the help of men.
I had my own fair share of tough experiences… it would be fairly true to say that I was most of my life on the run… looking for safety and wanting to feel fulfilled.
Through my own lived trauma and healing I have learnt the power of somatic practices in helping to soften pain, both emotional and physical, and return home to myself.
Without having to talk in detail about painful experiences, it is possible through practices such as movement, touch, rhythm and sound to build more space, safety and flexibility in your body.
Your trauma may come from things you have lived but quite a few we don’t even remember. They were passed on through generations or formed during early childhood.
It shows up in unexplained erupting emotions and flight or fight reactions which affect our sense of self, our connections and relationships, and the functioning of our body.
You can see safety but not feel it.
It doesn’t need to define us, it is not who we are.
It is not a life sentence.

Safe & Sound Experience From Andreea
My name is Andreea
I'm 41 years young and I was born in Romania. Growing up in a communist country I experienced a lot of abuse, lack of emotional safety, lack of proper nutrition and clothing and as an adult I was deeply affected by my past.
On my healing journey, I've tried several techniques and practices, including breathwork, tapping, meditation, talk therapy, CBT, yoga, vagus nerve regulation, and somatic practices. They all helped but when I found the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) my life changed. I felt the effects in the first week, but by the third week, even my husband saw improvement in my behaviour. I was less reactive, less stressed, could sleep better, my anxiety was under control and I was more connected to my body and my emotions. This protocol helped me feel the emotions I stored in my body as an abused child and didn't or couldn't deal with them at the time.
With the help of the practitioner from Women Together, Margreta, I also received the exercises and meditations needed for integration, and I felt held and understood.
I would recommend this practice to everyone who feels stuck and is always triggered by the past.
A carefully shaped listening experience aimed at helping the body feel safer.
Integral Somatic Psychology
Safe & Sound Protocol
If your body has been carrying more than it should. Tension, hypervigilance, a sense of never quite feeling safe, the Safe and Sound Protocol may help.
It's a gentle, listening-based approach that uses specially filtered music to help your nervous system settle. Over a series of sessions, listening through headphones, your body is invited to shift out of "on guard" mode and towards a quieter, steadier state, one where connection and calm feel more possible.
It's not a quick fix, and it isn't used on its own, it works alongside support from Margareta, as one part of a wider path back to feeling safe in yourself.
